● Rena Shulsky David – President and CEO of Shire Realty in New York City, Ms. David founded and chaired the “Swords into Plowshares” meeting between US and Soviet military officers as the Soviet Bloc was collapsing.
● Larry Page – Computer scientist and internet entrepreneur, Mr. Page is Co-Founder and CEO of Google, and an investor in other forward-looking technology companies.

Если дело будет прибыльным — то это даст невероятный пинок импульс развитию космонавтики, в том числе и пилотируемой. К сожалению, иначе, на одной науке — видимо не выехать...
Не думаю, что этот проект первые годы прибыльным будет. Но он нужен, зараза, потому что в застое мы сейчас. Достаточно вспомнить, как мир развивался в 20 веке, и как мы сейчас топчемся на месте.

способный придавать аппаратам непрерывное ускорение/замедление. Пока что
космонавтика — это зашвыривание камней в космос. Если до Марса нужно лететь
годами — это тупик, лучше не соваться. Что-то я про движок не слыхал ничего.
А вот давняя идея орбитальной бомбардировки экологически чистыми каменюками вместо грязных ядерных бомб...
А то разворовывание накопленного во времена СССР и перепродажа, которое процветают сегодня — это не бизнес. Это преступление.
