По спискам парень был англичанином, билет в один конец. Она не знала, что после авиакатастрофы парень лишился всей родни кроме дядюшки, переехавшего в Россию еще до рождения паренька, не знала, сколько успокоительного выпил Джон чтобы согласиться сесть на самолет, а потому очень удивилась, когда паренек вдруг подскочил как ужаленный.
— Мисс! Мисс! Там на крило тен ребенка, на самольёте кто-то ест! Сверкху!

— Спокойнее, Джон, это дух самолета, поэтому русские самолеты почти никогда и не бьются. Дух самолета живет в самолете с момента его постройки, чинит по мелочи, отлаживает, пилотам помогает, а стюардессы его подкармливают, сам посмотри.
Мальчик высунул голову в проход и увидел как в нарушение всех санитарных правил стюардесса ставит пластиковую мисочку со сливками куда-то на пол. Кто-то в первых рядах протянул ей конфету, которую она с улыбкой положила туда же. -

Socialist feminists think unequal standing in both the workplace and the domestic sphere holds women down. Socialist feminists see prostitution, domestic work, childcare and marriage as ways in which women are exploited by a patriarchal system that devalues women and the substantial work they do. Socialist feminists focus their energies on broad change that affects society as a whole, rather than on an individual basis. They see the need to work alongside not just men, but all other groups, as they see the oppression of women as a part of a larger pattern that affects everyone involved in the capitalist system.-

In his new book, Cannabinomics: The Marijuana Policy Tipping Point, Fichtner predicts that marijuana policy is about to change radically. As Fichtner points out, three public policy trajectories are converging: The medical marijuana movement is gaining momentum. People are increasingly waking up to the fact that drug prohibition creates more public health problems than it solves. And, in the same way that the Great Depression caused people to reprioritize how we spend our public dollars, the current economic crisis has got people thinking that bringing the biggest cash crop in the US out into the open might not be such a bad idea.-

In what may be an apocryphal conversation, she defended free love to Lenin, saying "Love should be free, like drinking water from a glass." Lenin is supposed to have replied, "but who wants to drink from a soiled glass?" Clara Zetkin recorded that Lenin opposed free love as "completely un-Marxist, and moreover, anti-social". Zetkin also recounted Lenin's denouncement of plans to organise Hamburg’s women prostitutes into a “special revolutionary militant section”: he saw this as “corrupt and degenerate.”
